Tonight Alain turns his attentions to the pleasures and sorrows of work, and the joys and perils of the modern workplace. We invite you to come and hear what other people get up to all day - and night - to make our frenzied contemporary world function. With a philosophical eye and his characteristic combination of wit and wisdom, Alain will lead you on a journey around a deliberately eclectic range of occupations, from rocket science to biscuit manufacturing, and accountancy to art, in a search of what make jobs either fulfilling or soul destroying.

Marianne Williamson Latest

Hi there,

The good news is that Marianne Williamson is well enough to travel to London to honour her commitment to run an event in London. Her previous event has today been rescheduled for the 6th June. If you were booked on the 21st March event you will be automatically put forward for this event. If you cannot make this event you will be offered a full credit for another workshop (to be used within a year) or a full refund. We are grateful for the patience and concern of all of you who were booked in this workshop. Our office received many messages of good wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery.

I Predict More Love For You Today....

Hiya,

I do not predict the future, that would be impossible since you create your reality from moment to moment. However, I do notice different patterns and trends. In my coaching practise I know that if a client continues to believe and think a certain way then it will lead him or her to feel a certain way and that in turn will lead him or her to speak, choose and act in a certain way and all of these will produce certain results and concequences.

Now, you may not know what you believe, because most of our beliefs are unconscious. Beliefs are the software in the unconscious that create our reality. The beliefs we hold create the repeating patterns of experience in our lives.

However, you can work out what you beleive from the results you are experiencing in the world. You can ask yourself "What would I have to believe to be true about myself or the world to create the results I am experiencing at the moment." If for instance you are experiencing a lack of love then perhaps this points to a belief that there is not enough love to go around. This is a painfully common belief that children can adopt in some families.

Today I am going to give you some new beliefs about love: There is enough love to go around; I deserve love; I am willing to receive love from others; I am attracting loving people into my life; I love myself enough to allow more money to flow into my life; I love myself enougn to allow more opportunities to flow into my life; and I am open to the guiding light and love of my soul and Higher Self in my life.

OK, now take whichever of the above and meditate on the statement throughout today. I predict that by the end of the day you will feel lighter and more open to love in all its forms and activities.

This evening we have John de Ruiter speaking in St. James's church on The Living Way of Truth. Here is an extract from the foreward of his book Unveiling Reality.

"We humans have such an awesome capacity... we have a full spectrum of consciousness. Through the vehicles of the mind, body, emotion, will and intuition, we can experience endlessly expansive or endlessly intricate dimensions of inward and outward movement of being. Within that, as we can later come to know, we have the capacity to share in profound depths of oneness with the universe. And what we also have is power - the ultimate kind of power, the greatest power in the entire universe: We have the power to choose to be anything we prefer, real or illusory, unlike the rest of existence which can only be itself.

As beings, we recognize what moves us and what we love most within those rich and diverse experiences of humanness. We clearly know the flow of goodness beneath the sensory wrappings, and we love it. It is the human heart - consciousness, finding itself in love with the Truth from which it originates, the Truth that touches it and nourishes it in so many different ways within......"
